AMS Holds 15th Anniversary Celebration
Applied Marketing Science celebrated its 15th anniversary with a reception at the MIT Faculty Club on Friday, April 2nd. Among the well-wishers that came to mark the occasion were Professor John Hauser of MIT, a company co-founder, and numerous clients, vendors, and former employees. Pianist Dave Shrewsbury played elegant background music while guests dined on hot hors d’oevres, Mid-Eastern and Asian fare, and sumptuous desserts. The highlight of the evening was entertainer Jon Stetson, who amazed the crowd with mind-reading, fork-bending, and other amazing feats.
AMS President Bob Klein talked about the many new directions the company is heading in, including web-based brainstorming, electronic card-sorting, Voice of the Customer applications specifically targeted toward consumer packaged goods, and strengthening the company’s litigation consulting business. Added Klein, “If things hold true to form, 15 years from now when we have our 30th Anniversary party, we are going to look around and say ‘some of you weren’t even born when AMS got started, but look at all the fun stuff we have done and look at all the great things we are going to do in the future.’ ”
About the Company
