Tiffany Hogan Joins AMS as Project Director
Tiffany Hogan has joined AMS as a Project Director, specializing in both the New Product Development and Litigation Support areas. She is experienced in designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative studies, including ethnographic research, across a variety of topics, such as aging, race relations, and sports.
Prior to joining AMS, Tiffany was an assistant professor of sociology at Central Connecticut State University. She has been awarded research grants to investigate a number of different areas, including teenage pregnancy prevention and professors’ attitudes toward students with learning disabilities. In 2002, she won an Endowment for Humanities faculty fellowship to look at the role of sports in industrialization. Previously, Tiffany worked as an Evaluation Director for the Rhode Island Public Health Foundation, where among other things, she conducted an ethnographic study of how health messages were transmitted in a low-income urban neighborhood.
She has presented her findings to such organizations as the American Sociological Association, the American Public Health Association and the North American Society for Sociology of Sport. Her research has been published in the Journal of Applied Gerontology, Gerontology and Geriatrics Education and Research in Nursing and Health.
Tiffany holds an ABH in Area Studies from Rollins College, and a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Florida
