AMS Co-Founder and MIT Professor John Hauser Named INFORMS Fellow

Applied Marketing Science is pleased to announce that company co-founder and MIT Professor John R. Hauser was named an INFORMS Fellow in recognition of his "outstanding contributions to the operations research/management science profession." INFORMS (the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences) is the largest professional society in the world for professionals in the field of operations research.

Professor Hauser is Kirin Professor of Marketing and Head of the Management Science area at MIT's Sloan School of Management, as well as co-Director of MIT's Center for Innovation in Product Development and co-Director of the International Center for Research on the Management of Technology. Dr. Hauser has co-authored two textbooks, Design and Marketing of New Products and Essentials of New Product Management, and was formerly Editor-in-Chief of Marketing Science.
