Brian Sowers is a Senior Project Director for Applied Marketing Science Inc. He manages consulting engagements in the firmís Product & Process Innovation and Litigation Support practice areas.
Brian has more than 15 years of market research experience and has held a variety of research positions on both the client side and the consulting side. He has extensive experience using a wide range of quantitative and qualitative techniques. Brian consults on market research for legal cases involving trademark infringement and patent damages, among others and manages market research to support innovations in new product development.
Prior to joining AMS, Brian was a Senior Project Manager at the Forbes Consulting Group, in which he oversaw a team of researchers and managed the design, execution, analysis, and interpretation of large scale domestic and international research projects for organizations across a variety of industries, including medical devices and pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods, and financial services. Brian helped his clients identify new marketplace opportunities, develop communication and positioning strategies, measure brand equity, and increase customer satisfaction and retention.
Before joining the Forbes Consulting Group, Brian was a Senior Analyst at Lockheed Martin where he was granted a Top Secret security clearance. He has also held market research positions with MCI WorldCom and Marketing Analysts Inc. (MAi)
Brian holds a B.A. in History from Roanoke College and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Colorado.
