Marina Santamarina Joins AMS as Principal Product Manager
Applied Marketing Science is pleased to announce that Marinia Gil-Santamarina has recently joined the company as Principal Product Manager, working primarily on the IDEALYST® online brainstorming tool. Marina will oversee strategy, product planning, and business development for IDEALYST. She is a Pragmatic Marketing Certified professional, with over 10 years of software product management experience.
Marina has held positions in development, product management, online community management, QA, and service organizations at Computer Associates, Empirix and Oracle. Most recently at Empirix, she was responsible for planning, launching, managing, and evangelizing a vibrant online community, Empirix QAZone, which was later acquired by Oracle.
Marina holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain, and was a visiting scientist at Boston University. She is also a contributor to industry publications and forums. Her articles have been published in magazines such as Unicenter Advisor, WebSphere Developers Journal and on StickyMinds.com. She has also spoken at industry conferences and technical professional associations throughout the U.S.
