IDEALYST: The Online Brainstorming Tool
IDEALYST® lets you brainstorm with colleagues and customers online, without the hassle and expense
of travel. You can use IDEALYST to brainstorm new product or service ideas,
process improvements, marketing campaigns, employee satisfaction programs, and virtually any other topic that would benefit from
group input. You can log on to IDEALYST to contribute ideas as often as you wish, whenever it's most convenient for you.
IDEALYST was developed based on research conducted at the MIT Sloan School, which showed that incentives can significantly
increase participation and improve the quality of ideas generated. IDEALYST awards cash or prizes to participants based on the
quality and quantity of their ideas. Other benefits of IDEALYST include:
- Low cost to get started
- Up to 30 participants allowed per game
- No need to travel to a central location
- Participants can play over a 1- to 2-week period
- Prizes are awarded commensurate with participation
- Identities are hidden so "office politics" are avoided
