Jeff Lertora

Jeff Lertora is an analyst in both the Insights for Innovation and Litigation Support practice areas of Applied Marketing Science (AMS).

In his role at AMS, Jeff is involved with all aspects of the research projects, including exploratory research, survey design, survey fielding, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, conjoint analysis, and report development. Jeff works with clients in a variety of industries including consumer products, industrial services, social media, medical devices, insurance and technology. For Applied Marketing Science’s litigation practice, Jeff specializes in the areas of patent and trademark infringement, class certification, market confusion and deceptive advertising.

Prior to joining AMS, Jeff worked as a software specialist at Dapresy North America Inc., a software company that displays marketing data, where he created engaging infographics and dashboards to showcase clients’ data in an interactive and efficient manner. Additionally, he was a corporate research intern at Unum, a Fortune 500 insurance company, where he supported the internal research department through survey programming, data entry and analysis, quality control, and in-depth interviewing. Jeff also held several other internship positions including time with the Carsey School of Public Policy located in Durham, NH and Veris Wealth Partners in Portsmouth, NH.

During his undergraduate studies at the University of New Hampshire, Jeff was involved with a variety of marketing initiatives. He was the research team lead for his marketing capstone project in which his team participated in a national collegiate competition to create a marketing strategy to combat oversea terrorist recruitment efforts. Jeff wrote his honors thesis on his research of the influences on our everyday intentions to eat a healthy diet, modeled after the theory of planned behavior. Additionally, he worked as an intern at UNH Health Services to analyze on campus drug-use data and draft a report for the college highlighting trends and areas of improvement.

A native of Suffield, CT, Jeff enjoys spending time with family and friends. Outside of work, he can be considered a movie enthusiast except on nice weekends when he likes to enjoy the weather. Since growing up playing hockey, he is a major sports fan and is faithful to Boston teams, especially the Bruins.

Jeff holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in marketing, and a double minor in Psychology and Sociology from the University of New Hampshire, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Honors Program.
