Litigation Practice Coordinator
Maria V. Skavicus is the coordinator for the Litigation Support practice area of Applied Marketing Science (AMS).
Maria supports the Litigation Support practice in marketing as well as in client projects. She works with the marketing team to reach relevant attorneys and she manages the litigation customer database. Maria supports managers on various projects, performing qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
Prior to joining AMS, Maria worked as an operations research analyst at the Volpe National Transportation System Center in Cambridge, MA. At the Volpe Center, she worked on projects involving cost-benefit analysis, process improvement and the development of statistical software. Over her 10 year career at the Volpe Center she was the recipient of many awards, including Distinguished and Meritorious honors, as well has acceptance into the Volpe Center Fellows Program.
Maria and her husband Paul have been married for 20 years and are the proud parents of 3 very active children. Maria is a former gymnast, but currently spends her free time cheering on her kids at various sporting and school events, walking her dog Roxie and quilting.
Maria holds a B.S. in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She also completed graduate-level courses in educational media and technology at Boston University.
