Tricia O’Hurley is an analyst supporting both the Insights for Innovation and Litigation Support practice areas of Applied Marketing Science.
In her role, Tricia works with field agencies to provide support for proposal and project coordination while developing resources for the field department. She works closely with project managers as well as analysts throughout various project stages to ensure quality data collection.
Prior to joining AMS, Tricia was a public relations intern at Duffy & Shanley in Providence, working on consumer and fashion accounts like Staples, Brahmin, AT&T, and Foster Grant. Before that, she held a unique position at a tech startup outside of Boston, testing web and mobile app software to create support documentation and other marketing materials.
For her marketing capstone, Tricia teamed up with a Providence one-man bakery who crafted delicious pies in a local homeless shelter’s kitchen. She headed up the marketing side of a business plan while her partner crunched the numbers. Together, they provided the humble baker with a clearly written path to success which involved a proposal for a brick and mortar pie shop in Newport.
Spending part of her childhood in a quaint neighborhood of hot and humid North Carolina, Tricia developed a love for all things outdoors, especially playing tennis—she finally aced her dad (former D1 college tennis player) to win one set! She grew up taking long road trips up and down the East Coast, which sparked her desire to travel the world. She loves to spend time with her big Irish family that now spans four generations, thanks to her adorable niece and nephew.
Tricia holds a B.S. in Marketing from Providence College where she graduated Cum Laude from the Liberal Arts Honors Program.
