Human Resources Manager
As a strategic partner with AMS’s leadership, Alison Geehan oversees recruiting, onboarding, professional development, and performance management for AMS’s consulting and administrative staff. She is responsible for compensation and benefits, organizational HR compliance, and implementing a long-term talent strategy, including an ongoing initiative in workplace diversity.
From working alongside diverse, dynamic and supportive professionals throughout her career, Alison is passionate about the importance of loving what you do, enjoying the environment in which you work, and genuinely respecting and caring for the people with whom you work alongside. She believes human resources is a powerful tool in achieving positive impacts on employee growth and engagement, inclusive business practices, organizational success, and client satisfaction.
Prior to joining AMS, Alison was Vice President of New England School of Photography, Inc. (NESOP), where she was responsible for the organization’s human resources, financial operations and reporting, marketing, administrative management, and institutional compliance, earning the institution designation as a School of Distinction and a School of Excellence throughout her tenure.
Outside of work, Alison enjoys traveling, time spent outdoors, catching the latest Netflix documentary or series, baking, the company of a good book, and spending time with her family.
Alison holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance), Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts—Lowell and an M.S. degree in Mass Communication (Advertising/Marketing Communication), with Distinction, from Boston University.
