Jon Bocamazo is an analyst for the Insights for Innovation practice at Applied Marketing Science. As an analyst, Jon supports his projects in a variety of ways, such as designing qualitative and quantitative studies, interviewing, fielding, analyzing data, creating data-driven recommendations, and writing reports.
Jon attended Fairfield University, where he studied business and mathematics. Throughout his studies, he learned how to apply principles of marketing in a global and digital context, focusing on how brands can expand their markets internationally by taking more data-driven approaches. By analyzing the critical decision-making processes of these businesses, Jon developed an understanding of and passion for determining the needs and wants of the customer and how to balance them against the desires of businesses.
From Southborough, Massachusetts, Jon loves to watch his favorite soccer team, Arsenal, compete every weekend and has a passion for playing and watching basketball. While he is not working, Jon is constantly looking for ways to be active, taking every opportunity to get outside. He is also an avid movie watcher. His favorite being Catch Me if You Can starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Jon holds a B.S. in Marketing, with a minor in Mathematics, from Fairfield University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
