Survey Programmer

Joshua Cleveland is a Survey Programmer for the Insights for Innovation and Litigation Support practices at Applied Marketing Science, Inc. (AMS).

In his role at AMS, Josh consults on survey design elements, and is responsible for programming and testing of all aspects of complex online surveys.

Josh has over fifteen years of experience in the market research industry. He has programmed and consulted on surveys across a wide array of platforms and has used numerous programming languages and web technologies to ensure surveys meet the needs of clients. Josh has been heavily involved in projects ranging from simple qualitative analysis to massive multiple country and language quantitative tracking studies.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, especially when it means playing video games with his daughter. Josh enjoys reading and just getting things done around the house. When possible, Josh loves to travel. He’s spent a decent amount of time in Australia, as his parents lived there for a good portion of his early adulthood. Josh also spent a month training other programmers in Bulgaria at one point which was quite an interesting experience.

Josh holds both a B.S. and M.S. from Northern Illinois University in a related technical field.
