Madison Colby

Analyst

Madison is an analyst for the Insights for Innovation practice at Applied Marketing Science. As an analyst, Madison supports projects by designing qualitative and quantitative surveys, interviewing, analyzing and quality-checking data, and uncovering unique customer needs through data-driven insights.

Madison received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ithaca College and her Master of Science in Psychological Sciences from William & Mary. During her time at William & Mary, she was also employed as a research coordinator, where she led teams studying perception and cognition. Her research aimed at identifying barriers to patients seeking out comprehensive mental healthcare. Additionally, she worked as an instructor for advanced research methods and statistics and remains passionate about mentoring the next generation of social scientists. Through her studies and work, Madison has developed expertise in methodological design and statistical analysis for complex research questions.

Originally from Portsmouth, NH, Madison fancies herself the Granite State’s unofficial spokesperson and take great pride in providing anyone with fun facts on the topic. Outside of work, you can find her exploring new restaurants in the Boston area, antiquing, and adventuring with her dog, Kona.
