Marisa Jaross is a senior analyst for the Litigation Support practice at Applied Marketing Science (AMS).
In her role at AMS, Marisa is involved with all aspects of litigation projects, including exploratory research, survey design, survey fielding, data analysis, and report development. She has worked for the Litigation Support practice on cases related to trademark and patent infringement, deceptive advertising, secondary meaning, genericism, and market confusion.
Prior to joining AMS, Marisa was a student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. There she worked in multiple research labs and conducted her own research study regarding what United States defense attorneys know about facial composites. Marisa was in a joint program where she completed her bachelor’s Degree and master’s Degree at the same time, she graduated Cum Laude and with distinction.
Originally from New York City, Marisa is a huge Mets and Giants fan and despite having to witness a Patriots Super Bowl win and a Red Sox World Series championship within her first year of living in Massachusetts, Marisa is thoroughly enjoying living in MA and loves spending her time exploring all that New England has to offer.
Marisa has a B.A. and an M.A. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
